Release Notes: December 10, 2025

This release introduces two significant updates for Emburse Enterprise. Mobile capability has been expanded to include delegate access on iOS and Android. This gives employees greater flexibility to manage expenses on the go and ensures consistent functionality across web and mobile. In addition, Emburse Enterprise will transition to a new URL and email domains in April 2026 as part of our brand evolution, with redirects in place to support a smooth change and no impact to core functionality.

  • Delegate access on mobile: Users can now act on behalf of others directly from the Emburse Enterprise mobile app for consistent web-to-mobile expense management.
  • Updated Emburse Enterprise URL and email domains: Beginning April 30, 2026, a new ent.emburse.app web URL and updated inbound and outbound email domains will support a unified Emburse experience.

Emburse Enterprise URL and Email Domain Update

As part of our ongoing brand evolution, we will be replacing the existing URLs chromeriver.com, chromefile.com, and region-specific inbound domains (e.g., receipt@chromefile.com, receipt-qa@chromefile.com) with Emburse Enterprise’s new web URL and email domains beginning in April 2026. This change builds on the name and logo updates we have already introduced and continues our effort to create a unified Emburse experience for you.

Starting April 30, 2026:

  • New Web URL: ent.emburse.app
  • New Default Outbound Email Domain: @ent.emburse.app
  • New Default Inbound Email Domains: receipt@ent.emburse.app and receipt-qa@ent.emburse.app

While the URLs and domains are changing, the functionality you rely on will remain the same. Redirects will be in place, and this change has been carefully planned to make the transition straightforward.

What You Can Do Now

At this stage, the only action required is to begin updating any internal documentation that references the chromeriver.com URL or email domains. Share these updates with your users so they are aware of the upcoming transition. Additional action steps will be provided in future communications as we move closer to April 30, 2026.

Delegate Access Now Available on Mobile for Emburse Enterprise

The Emburse Enterprise mobile app now supports delegate access, extending full desktop flexibility to mobile. Authorized delegates can switch accounts, manage expenses, and act on behalf of other users directly from their both iOS and Android devices—bringing true feature parity between web and mobile.

With this enhancement, delegates can:

  • Act on behalf of another user by selecting Switch Account from their profile
  • Review, edit, and submit expenses in real time.
  • Capture and manage receipts directly from the mobile app’s Wallet.
  • Benefit from Emburse AI for faster, more accurate receipt processing.
  • Access consistent functionality and permissions across web and mobile.

Device Requirements: In order to take advantage of delegate access, your device must be running one of the following versions of the Emburse Enterprise mobile app:

  • iOS: Version 2.4.0
  • Android: Version 2.4.1

Deployment Schedule: Available to all customers now.
