Introducing UI Rules Editor

Chrome River customers may now edit their user-interface rules via the UI Rules Admin Screen. Note that, at this time, the editor offers limited editing capabilities for user-interface rules; more capabilities will be added in upcoming releases.

With this release, the UI Rules Admin Screen can be used to edit rule actions related to how fields are displayed (Set Field Visible/Hidden, Set Field Optional/Required, and Set Field Enabled/Disabled) and to edit rule execution.

Additionally, the Changeset Manager now has a shortcut link to apply changes to UI rules when creating a new changeset. And when admins view an existing changeset that includes UI rule changes, they will now see a shortcut to the UI Rules Editor.

Administrators with appropriate permissions may activate the new UI Rules Editor via the Access Permissions admin screen under Admin UI Rules.

Expense Images Now Available via REST API

We have migrated our longstanding SOAP Expense Image API to the REST API format. The API gives you options for downloading Expense receipts in a standard format. The benefits of the REST version of the API include improved performance and standardized access controls. Additionally, the format of the PDF documents available via the API is now consistent with the layout of the PDF documents available within Chrome River EXPENSE.

Administrators may enable access to the Expense Image API via the API Key Management admin screen. Further details are available in the Implementation Toolkit.

DIRECT PAY

DIRECT PAY Email Notification Enhancements

We have enhanced the DIRECT PAY Payment Status Change and Unable to Pay Approved Expenses email notifications with new formatting to make them easier to read. Additionally, these email notifications will now display the reason the payment was not made, when applicable.
