Single Sign-On Admin Screen

The SSO (Single Sign-On) Certificates admin screen allows security administrators to update your organization's SSO certificate and configure the URL for access via the Chrome River mobile app. For complete details on SSO, see Introduction to Single Sign-On (SSO).

SSO certificates MUST be updated in Chrome River before they are updated on your local server or you will be locked out of Chrome River. See Update Your SSO Certificate, below, for details.

Access Single Sign-On Admin Screen

1. Log in to Chrome River through your SSO service.

2. Click the MENU button in the upper left corner, then ADMIN SETTINGS.

2. Click SECURITY > SINGLE SIGN-ON.

SSO Redirect URL

This section allows you to edit the URL used to access Chrome River via the Chrome River mobile app. See "ADMIN: Configure Your Organization's SSO Login Page" in the Download & Log In to the Chrome River Mobile App article for complete details.

Update Your SSO Certificate

Your SSO certificate MUST be updated in Chrome River before it is updated on your local server or you will be locked out of Chrome River. 

1. In the SSO Certificates section, on the desired certificate, click the blue UPDATE button.

 

2. Copy your new certificate key and paste it into the box that appears.

3. Click SAVE. To complete the process, update the SSO Certificate on your local server.

If you receive the error "We are unable to decode this certificate. It may be corrupt or in an incorrect format," please

  1. Remove the "BEGIN CERTIFICATE" and "END CERTIFICATE" lines.

  2. Ensure that the certificate is on a single line; join all lines into a single line, if necessary.

  3. Click SAVE.
