HELP CENTER

New Home for the Chrome River Help Desk Service Portal

We are excited to announce that we will be migrating the Chrome River administrator Help Desk Service Portal to a new platform at the end of January. In anticipation of this move, we have a new article in the Chrome River Help Center that explains how you will be able to interact with our service teams for current and new tickets.

The new platform will allow us to introduce new features to better serve you, including AI capabilities for faster triaging and ticket routing. In addition, we will offer options for simplifying ticket creation as we continue to make incremental improvements to your experience.

We anticipate the new service portal will become available on January 27. Further details will be available in the next release.

Emburse Connect for Analytics Snowflake Client Driver Deprecation

For Chrome River customers who extract data directly out of the Emburse Data Warehouse into their own reporting environments, our data warehouse vendor, Snowflake, will be deprecating older clients for connecting to the warehouse in February 2025.

Based on the Snowflake Support policy, any client driver version lower than those listed below will no longer be supported beginning February 1, 2025.

We recommend all customers upgrade to the latest version of the relevant Snowflake driver to take advantage of important fixes and enhancements to security, performance, and other functions. Snowflake will not be able to assist with any issues related to versions that are no longer supported.

To check the driver version in use, you may now view the driver version information on the Query History tab under the Client Info column. Further details can be found on the Snowflake Client Version & Support Policy page.

Country Name of Turkey Updated to Türkiye

We have updated the spelling of the name of the country Turkey to its new official spelling, Türkiye, wherever it appears in Chrome River, including the Per Diem Rates admin screen and the drop-downs on the Expense Entry screen.
