Release Notes: January 11, 2024

Note: We may roll out certain changes iteratively through our customer base. As a result, you may experience a few days’ delay (no more than one week) before you see new functionality in your Production environment.

EXPENSE APPROVAL

Include Additional Expense Approver

Based on customer feedback via Solution Suggestions, it is now possible for an expense approver to add another approver to the routing process. Unlike the Reassign Line Items feature, which transfers approval ownership to another user, this enhancement allows approvers to get a second set of eyes on an expense after they have approved it. Users simply click Add Approver, search for, and select the other approver before clicking Approve on a report.

To enable this feature for your organization, admins may navigate to Security > Access Permissions > Expense >  Expense Approvals and check “Allow adding additional approver for a report.”

This is just one of the enhancements we have made based on customer votes on Solution Suggestions. Admins are encouraged to review the existing Solution Suggestions, found in the Chrome River Help Desk Service Portal, and vote on the items that are most important to them.

Reminder: Emburse Connect for Analytics Snowflake Client Driver Deprecation

For Chrome River customers who extract data directly out of the Emburse Data Warehouse into their own reporting environments, please be advised that our data warehouse vendor, Snowflake, will be deprecating older clients for connecting to the warehouse in January 2024.

Based on the Snowflake Support policy, any client driver version lower than those listed below will no longer be supported beginning January 31, 2024.
