Use SpotHero with Chrome River

Chrome River offers expense integration with the SpotHero parking app, which allows drivers to easily find, reserve and pay for parking spaces in cities across the US from their mobile phone. SpotHero users who have a business profile can link directly to their Chrome River EXPENSE profile. Each time you make a purchase with SpotHero, the receipt will instantly be sent to your Chrome River account for automatic extraction of the transaction data. When you want to submit your expenses, simply drag the image of the receipt into your expense report – all of the data will be automatically attached. In addition, if your SpotHero account is attached to a corporate card, the transaction receipt will automatically be matched with the card payment data.

To activate this feature, simply set up an individual SpotHero Business Profile using the same email address you use with Chrome River, then select Chrome River from the list of providers in the Account Settings.

1. Open the SpotHero app, then tap on the ACCOUNT button in the bottom menu bar.

• If you do not already have an SpotHero account, download the app and create a new account. You do not need to use your Chrome River email address to create the account—you will enter that when you create your Business Profile in the steps below.

2. Under Profiles, tap SET UP BUSINESS PROFILE.

3. Tap CREATE BUSINESS PROFILE.

4. For the Work Email, enter the primary email address you use with Chrome River EXPENSE. Then tap NEXT.

5. Select the default payment method for SpotHero. To add a corporate credit card, tap ADD A PAYMENT METHOD.

6. Tap CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD.

7. Enter your credit card information or tap the camera icon to take a photo of the card. Then tap ADD CARD.

8. TAP NEXT.

9. Select CHROME RIVER from the list.

10. In the verification pop up, tap CONNECT.

11. SpotHero will send a verification email to the account you linked. In the email, tap ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT.

Your SpotHero receipt will automatically be sent to your business email address and CCed to receipt@thirdparty.chromefile.com. An HTML receipt for the expense will be created in Chrome River for use with expense reporting. You will also receive the standard receipt email notification when the SpotHero receipt has been received and processed successfully.
