AI Receipt Data Capture for Car Rentals: Reduce manual entry by automatically capturing key car rental details, including dates, rental agency, car class, and rental duration from uploaded receipts. Default Purchase Order PDF Template Updated: Review and share clearer purchase orders with an improved default PDF layout that reduces the need for custom templates. FeaturesEXPENSEIntroducing Emburse Assurance: Smarter, Earlier Expense ComplianceThis release introduces Emburse Assurance, a new Emburse AI-powered capability that helps organizations catch potential expense compliance issues earlier, reduce rework for employees, and focus review on what matters most. These checks extend beyond standard compliance rules to identify issues that are difficult to capture with thresholds and required fields alone, like receipt quality issues, mismatches between receipt data and expense entries, and patterns that may warrant additional review.Depending on how your organization is configured, Emburse Assurance can run at multiple points in the expense workflow: Proactive alerts during receipt capture: Employees may receive alerts in the mobile app when a receipt is missing required information, allowing them to address issues earlier. Pre-submission guidance during expense creation: Informational messages, warnings, or violations can appear while employees build expenses, helping reduce back-and-forth after submission. Post-submission review: Approvers and users assigned the Emburse Assurance Auditor role can see indicators that help focus review on higher-risk expenses. Your organization controls which checks are enabled and where they run in the workflow. Messages can be configured as informational, warnings that require a response, or violations that require action before submission. For more details about available checks and configuration options, see the Emburse Assurance Overview in the Emburse Enterprise help center.Activation: Contact your Emburse account executive, Customer Success Manager, or Emburse Solution Advisor to request activation.Emburse AI Receipt Data Capture for Car RentalsEmburse Enterprise now supports AI-driven receipt capture for additional car rental fields, reducing manual entry during expense submission. When a user uploads a car rental receipt, Emburse AI automatically populates key details, including rental and return dates, rental agency, car class, and number of rental days. This update extends existing Emburse AI receipt capture by improving how car rental information is extracted from receipts and rental agreements. Users benefit from more consistent data and fewer manual corrections during expense creation.Availability: These fields are now live for all the customers who have enabled them in the user interface. If these updates are not yet visible in your organization’s UI, contact your Emburse representative or submit a Support request for enablement.ImprovementPURCHASE ORDERDefault Purchase Order PDF Report Template UpdatedWe have refreshed the default Purchase Order PDF report template with a cleaner layout and more consistent formatting to make POs easier to review, share, and approve.Key improvements include wider columns to prevent text truncation, a streamlined layout that moves vendor details to the top to better align with standard invoice formats, and more uniform presentation of data across fields.
