Chrome River Legacy ANALYTICS Ad Hoc Reporting Tutorials

Chrome River's legacy Analytics reports allow you to easily access, review and analyze expense, invoice and corporate information whenever you need it. Although the system provides an extensive collection of standard reports, it is also possible to create ad hoc analytics reports from scratch. These are completely customizable, allowing you to aggregate data in myriad configurations.

The tool used to create legacy ad hoc reports is WebFOCUS InfoAssist, a Web-based application with an interface similar to that of Microsoft Office. There is no software to install, and the tool can be accessed through the Administration menu of the Chrome River application by any user with appropriate permissions. You will be able to

  • Create simple and complex queries, reports and charts from multiple enterprise information sources
  • Publish reports and share them with others in your company
  • Convert reports to charts or charts to reports
  • Analyze multiple reports and charts simultaneously, tiling them to view data from multiple perspectives
  • Generate reports in HTML, Adobe Flash/Flex, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint, WebFOCUS Active Technology reports (for offline analysis) and other formats

The tutorials below comprise an immersion course on the creation of ad hoc reports. (For a crash course, see Build a Basic Ad Hoc Report). Each lesson offers step-by-step instruction on a different aspect of ad hoc reporting, with the overall goal being the ability to complete the tasks listed above.
